No, I didn't do any art, I just did the programming. All the 3D modelling, rendering, animation,... was done by Martin "mattin" Ernst at DOSO (the principal). He has a private homepage at dermattin.com with some more amazing stuff. (If you don't speak German, just follow the third and fifth link on the page.)
And thanks for buying! Positive reviews are greatly appreciated!

Matt

Actually I was just talking about SIO2 in the iPhone dev group in a German business platform (Xing). Don't worry, I'm making lots of advertising.

Re: Shipped Tittles with SIO2 Engine
played the game.. graphics are really good.. some places can use improvement as the sprites look to be scaled up a tad. the controls start to get un responsive throughout the game once in a while but for the most part its really good..
luckily i saw the post on here about the game before so i knew it was made with sio2, otherwise id have never known. i think a great game like this can show off what sio2 is capable of and very important esp since the engine is so new, people really like to see real world examples of games made with engines before gthey really devote time into learning them.

Yeah no comments... I would have also appreciate that matt but a bit more of emphasis that this is made with SIO2, since the final result of the game his highly due to the SIO2 community, I would be nice in order to keep the SIO2 project alive to have make it a bit more visible than in the credits but whatever...
Like the way they do it for iPunch, I think that's perfect it bring the emphasis on the "Powered" by and help to keep the project alive... More people is using it more complete and competitive it would be become and the better the community would be able to grow around it and most important have fun developing the next generation of games for iPhone & iPod Touch!!!
Give and thou shall receive...

Re: Shipped Tittles with SIO2 Engine
Guys, whoever wrote that posting (link) should have read the last postings thoroughly instead of stabbing us right into the back. It's simply wrong.
The guy who was addressed not to have given credits to SIO2 at all was "charlieby", not us. Regarding ELFrun, sio2interactive was simply disappointed that there was no more emphasis on SIO2 than in the credits, as required by the license.
I'm honestly asking the person who wrote that posting to email the toucharcade.com webmasters to clarify this issue and to remove the posting. I will comment there accordingly.
I'm really shocked and I hope that I can avoid at least some of the damage done to the product and our names by this scheming posting.
Best,
Matt

Re: Shipped Tittles with SIO2 Engine
It appears like the webmasters reacted quickly and removed the posting in question.
Still, I'm asking anyone who is part of this community to think for a minute before starting to blame someone publically. I notified sio2interactive prior to the release of ELFrun and later forwarded a promotion code and even send him a screenshot of the credits on request after someone was seriously claiming ELFrun doesn't mention SIO2. What makes people do such things? Enviousness? Instead of watching the whole credits or asking the authors where they mentioned the engine, someone denounces us to the author and publically with some completely wrong allegations and again doesn't read what he writes about thouroughly.
Let's hope that doesn't happen to other people using the engine. I for one wouldn't want to risk to get my name damaged like that.
Best,
Matt
