Is bump-mapping available with opengles on the iphone? I didn't see any application yet which
seemed to have some kind of bump-mapping?!

Yes the OpenGL ES v1.1 implementation contain the necessary combiners in order to do so. At the moment it is not "automatically" supported in SIO2, you'll have to set the necessary combiners yourself. Its on my TODO list so probably with the next release
