Image Glitch after using io2ObjectDuplicate() Empty Image Glitch after using io2ObjectDuplicate()

Post  matthew Sat Jan 31, 2009 10:19 pm

Hello All,

I doubt anybody knows the answer, but it's worth asking. I'm noticing that after I use the sio2ObjectDuplicate() routine to make a copy of any object (that happens to have physics enabled & is a bullet rigid body) and also pass a transform to for positioning, there is a rendering error for 1frame.

Right after I call sio2ObjectDuplicate(), the 2nd next time templateRender() is called, the transform matrix has an incorrect scale value ( 3 times as large) for some reason.

This matrix is actally being set by Bullet physics, so I'm not sure how I can resolve this. It's just 1 frame where the image appears at the incorrect scale, then it appears correcty - bit I am a perfectionist... Wink

Cheers,
Matt

Image Glitch after using io2ObjectDuplicate() Empty Never Mind...

Post  matthew Sat Jan 31, 2009 11:04 pm

Fortunately, the image glitch i was experiencing was unrelated to sio2 or calling the sio2ObjectDuplcate() function.

Instead, it was a bug in some code I wrote in templateRender().... sio2 is still perfect!

Thanks anyways,
