Newbie question, code signing error when trying to run tutorial1

Post  hosthvo on Tue Feb 03, 2009 7:48 am

Hi, I'm trying to deploy tutorial1 to my iPod touch 2.2.1. I was able to build to the simulator but when I tried to build for the touch it crashed with a

CodeSign error: a valid provisioning profile is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 2.2.1' ...

I was wondering if anyone has ran into this problem and where can I obtain/create the right keys to try to deploy the tutorials.

Any help much appreciated.

You need to obtain a provisioning license.

You have my sympathies.

Google for "iPhone provisioning"

You need to pay 99$ to get your app out on you device Crying or Very sad , or you could try this 246tnt.com/iPhone. I am trying to get this to work right now but still no luck:(

Yes, I made the green mistake of assuming that if I download the sdk via my itunes username it was already charged.

Thanks
