Lights and rotated object Empty Lights and rotated object

I'm trying to add a simple light to a simple scene (textured cube that I have rotating).

Problem is it appears that the light is applied to the object's local orientation and not world orientation.

Ex: if I don't rotate the cube, the light comes from behind the camera and everything is visible. As it rotates, the object becomes dark and hard to see because the light no longer shines on the direction from the camera.

Does the light need a rotation added to it for each object rendered?? Or do I have a setting or light type incorrect (I'm using a simple lamp type).

Thanks,

John

Be sure to press the "N" button on the exporter, to export the proper normals.

Let me know if that fixes it.

I tried the "N" button on export, no change.
