Am I doing something wrong?

Am I doing something wrong?
I am new to the game development industry however, I am familiar with C++, C# and a lot of other visual studio/microsoft products. Anyway, I am attempting to create a game on the iphone using SIO2. My question is: Is there a GUI or graphical representation of the objects that I can manipulate to form the graphical portion of the game? I'm not sure if you have ever created anything using visual studios before, but what I am essentially looking for is a way to create the interface using blender objects that I can then code the reactions to those objects being manipulated by the user. If that makes any sense. In visual studios you can create, say a button, then use the code to tell the program what to do when the button is pressed. In essence I feel that I am going about the usage of SI02 in the wrong way which is as you might expect, making things quite difficult. Any suggestions?

Check SIO2 widgets, that's an area on screen that respond to events... everything have to be created from scratch after that... if you wannit to act like a button you will code for a button or a checkbox or progress bar or whatever...
Check tutorial07 which give you a quick overview of the widget and event callbacks.
