1.4, sio2ObjectSoftCopy/HardCopy vs. 1.3.5 sio2ObjectDuplicate

Post  yarri on Tue Jul 28, 2009 10:02 pm

Hi, can you explain your thoughts on the difference between 1.4 sio2ObjectSoftCopy/HardCopy vs the 1.3.5 sio2ObjectDuplicate? It seems that SoftCopy is that same as ObjectDuplicate but doesn't include the duplication of a physics object, there's no call to sio2PhysicAddObject() call.

Would it make sense to add physics duplication code to sio2ObjectHardCopy?

Thanks,

Check tutorial061 and the source of iZenGarden, you will understand why Wink

Soft & Hard copy are way more flexible than Duplicate...
