About SIO2Emitter
I´m a little stuck with SIO2Emitter code. I´m reading it before use it and I don´t know if I fully understand it. Correct me if I´m wrong for the process of a emitter
1. You initialize the emitter with SIO2EmitterInit
2. You setup position, material, lifetime and max_particle with the old way (->pos = SIO2Vec3 ... etc.)
3. You Setup the emitter with SIO2EmitterSetup.
4. You start the emitter with SIO2EmitterPlay
5. In the main loop, you render it with SIO2EmitterRender
When it reaches the lifetime end, I don´t see code to stop the emitter, do I have to force the stop with SIO2EmitterStop??
Do you have a sample to work with?
Thank you!

Re: About SIO2Emitter
sio2interactive has posted an example for particle systems in this posting, have a look at that, it should help you.

And also download particle.tga... I forgot to link it with the project... sorry :$
Re: About SIO2Emitter
But I searched it on the search engine...! emitter, SIOEmitter, ... no one appears.
Well, thank you anyway.

I linked the forum posting. Just move your mouse over "this posting" in my reply (or use meteors direct link ;-))

I got the file. What I mean is search engine in the forum does not work properly.

Re: About SIO2Emitter
I usually use advanced search, check "search all terms", and hit submit.
No, it's not great :-)

Ah, okay. Agreed, the standard search is crap.jlperan wrote:I got the file. What I mean is search engine in the forum does not work properly.
