No Such File or Directory
Hello,
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a newbie question...
When I try to export to sio2 using python script from sdk, I get the following error in console:
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/Users/DannysHome/Desktop/3DPong/pong.sio2/Scene/camera/Camera'
I get this error even after following video tutorial, or loading a blender scene from the sdk. I am using Blender 2.47, python 2.5, and SIO2::Exporter v1.3.3. When I look in my export directory, no SIO2 file is created, so I'm guessing I have a file permission somewhere? I tried Blender 2.48a, but it gives the same result (and it doesnt work on my MacBook, very slow).
Thanks again for your help!
Regards,
Daniel Sanchez

Re: No Such File or Directory
The path obviously seems to be wrong... Within the exporter the path should simply look like that:
/Users/DannysHome/Desktop/3DPong/
/Users/DannysHome/Desktop/3DPong/
Re: No Such File or Directory
Wow....I feel like a real n00b. Anyway, I got it working.
My problem was that when I was selecting the "Output directory" (the small button with .... caption), I was selecting the directory, AND I was typing a file name (like pong.sio2) to the end of the directory text. All you have to do is select output directory only, and it will export with the file name of the scene. I must of blinked when I missed that part of the video tutorial
Thanks for your Reply and great work!!!
