Have you been able to use it with SIO2?

I'm not very aware about how bitmap fonts work and how the font coordinates should be adjusted but is SIO2 expecting information about the actual font (chars. locations, padding, etc) to be part of the (bytes) header of the bitmap font itself or does it expect fixed location for the chars in the bitmap?
