Render 3D Object in GUI
I am currently trying to render a 3D object as part of the GUI. Is that even possible? I was hoping that I could render it without the normal perspective so the all of the objects look the same which would not be the case if I rendered them in the 3D mode close to the camera.

It's possible, you just enter either 2D window mode or 3D window mode as required. To render the 3d stuff, if will be based on the camera settings of the scene so you control the perspective that way... not sure of any other ways to do this.
