soft body,tutorial 16,blender - problem

I can not repeat this tutorial. My object fails through the plane. I have them set up as objects in the example, but it fails. please help

Open the blend file used for the tutorial and pay close attention to the properties set within the logic panel as well as the user defined properties. The variables used for soft body within blender are not exposed to python (yet). You have no choice to specify them manually.
And also just a side note... soft body cannot work with instances...
