Transparent Objects
Hi,
I just exported my scene from blender and everything works as expected, except objects with (semi-)transparent textures. These are all rendered out grey. Is there anything I have to do in code to get it working?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Transparent Objects
Yeah you can do it in code but its easier to get it done with blender...
1. Make sure that you are using TGA -> RGBA
2. For the 1st texture channel make sure that you select the blend mode "Value", assuming that you only want to render them transparent / semi-transparent.
I would also suggest you to watch CLOSELY the video for tutorial04, I explain everything there is to know about semi-transparent texture & SIO2.
Hope it helps,

Hi again,
thanks for your reply.
I did it exactly like you described it in the tutorial, but it's still just grey... any other hints? I also tried it with the texture you use in the tutorial...

Re: Transparent Objects
Have you turn on the blending mode "Value" that stand for alpha? If yes send me your .blend so I can check what's wrong...
Re: Transparent Objects
Alright, it's working now...although I can't really remember what was wrong
Thanks for your help!
