Do you have trouble understanding the accelerometer? That this is the right thing for you:
This app connects to you device(sio2_socket) and shows the accelerometer output, here are two screenshots:
As shown in the images you can choose between lines and points and size for them.

Check the define values for customization
EDIT: Add two new things: last time the lines would go out of the screen if the accel value was bigger that 1 or less than -1 now you can adjust the scale value. Also calibrate on double tap
