Textures-related crashing (putpkt: write failed: Broken pipe)
Hello,
I am having a strange problem. I exported my scene from Blender. It includes textures. It runs fine on the Simulator, but on the device it crashes with:
Error from debugger: putpkt: write failed: Broken pipe
In debug mode I get 'EXC_BAD_ACCESS'.
The only way I can stop the crashing is by commenting out:
sio2ResourceGenId( sio2->_SIO2resource );
And:
sio2->_SIO2window->_SIO2windowrender = templateRender;
Tutorial04 works fine on the device, so it has to be something with my .sio2 file.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

This problem is happening *only* on my device. 1st generation iPod Touch (8G).
It runs fine in the simulator. The device throws EXC_BAD_ACCESS when calling SIO2ResourceGenID().

Thanks. I am not sure I understand however.
Do you mean that this is due to the Tile Based Deferred Rendering?

I exported a completely new scene, and it works now. I still don't know what the problem was.
