Hair like Blender?

Hair like Blender?
I don't see anything in Bullet that would come close to 'hair' as can be found in Blender's particle system.
Sticks and ropes . . . yes . . . but not hair (unless I am missing something).
I had thought to convert Blender hair to a mesh object and then apply my own physics to the vertex data . . . but the exporter does not seem to like non-triangular mesh data.
Maybe I am missing something.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
By the way . . . Roland (is that your name?) . . . what an excellent thing you are doing here . . . I am very impressed.
Thanks,
Steve Greenwalt

Re: Hair like Blender?
There is no way you can render realistic hair on the device using any modern technique. If I were you I would check for an old technique called fin, that can be ported on the device. Check nehe demo for that you can find a tutorial with a cat rendered with that technique.
