How to convert a .blend file to a .sio2 file.

Hi,

I have converted my maya file to a .obj file and then imported into blender and saved it as a .blend file. Now all the tutorial examples though use .sio2 files. I see in the data directory both the .blend and .sio2 files for each tutorial. However how do I convert my .blend file to a .sio2 file so I can check it out in one of the simple tutorials to see if the export worked.

Check the first few video tutorials - they go at great length on how to export your blender scene into a .sio2 archive. You basically have to use the 'sio2_exporter.py' (located in the sio2 exporter dir) python script in blender.

In the SIO2 SDK I downloaded I found only one sio2.ogv video file in the data directory. Where are the video tutorials downloaded from? Can you post the link please?

It shows a 'Video Tutorial' link under certain tutorial icons...check Tutorial02 for instance

I followed the video and successfully converted the blender model to sio2 file format. I then plugged the sio2 model of mine into tutorial02 but it is displaying an all white 3D model. However in blender my model is fully colorized correctly. I did start with a Maya model which I exported to Wavefront .obj format which I then imported into blender successfully. What might be the problem? Any ideas?
