First of all, great engine and amazing work man, your a credit to the community.

Been spending a couple of weeks learning the engine and Blender and I'm having real problems getting textures to appear on objects imported from 3DS Max (in either .obj or .3DS format) in the simulator. It works fine in blender, all the uv maps have been imported correctly from max, however I do have to create a material and re-apply the image (a 256x256 jpeg file) to get it to appear in blender. When I export the .sio2 file from blender the texture file is included however in the simulator the objects just appear as their default colour (using the same method of applying the texture on objects created within blender it works fine in the simulator).

I've gone through the tutorials and these forums with a fine toothed comb and I can't work out why this is happening. Are there any special rules concerning object imprted into blender, i.e. that it can only use the texture in the state it imported or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated Very Happy.

Check again the video tutorial03 and 04 (im importing a 3ds and export it with texture) so you can compare what is different...

Sorted. For anyone else who has the same problem, don't apply the texture until you enter edit mode in blender otherwise it will look fine in blender but not work in the simulator.
